If you are interested in joining the NFUA for the 2025 season, please complete the new member application on this website. Our next new member class will begin February 2025 at the AOH Hall 9022 S. Military Road.  

Want To Umpire?

The NFUA is recruiting new umpires for the 2025 season and anyone interested in joining the NFUA as a member must first take part in our ongoing Umpire Development and Training program, where your foundation to understanding what it takes be be a solid umpire will be created and established.

You will be taught the fundamentals and more on how to become a successful umpire through our qualified member instructors who are passionate about umpiring baseball. 

If you are a former player, manager, coach, or simply have a love for the game, the NFUA is interested in your skills. 

Step 1
Fill out the application in the Membership Tab

Step 2
-Attend the classes of rules and mechanics

Step 3
-Pass the test and the background check (mandatory)

Step 4
-Begin working as a qualified member of the NFUA
